1. Download XTF

✓ Choose Windows or Mac/Linux

2. Extract content

✓ Double click the zip or tar package

3. Index sample documents

✓ Open a command prompt — double click: ../xtfWorkshop/cmdPrompt.bat

✓ Type: textIndexer -index default

4. Start the web servlet

✓ (Windows) Double click: ../xtfWorkshop/runTomcat.bat

✓ (Mac/Linux) Double click: ../xtfWorkshop/runTomcat.command

5. Use your new XTF application!

✓ Browse http://localhost:8080/xtf/search?browse-all=yes

✓ Search http://localhost:8080/xtf/search

✓ View EADs http://localhost:8080/xtf/view?docId=ead/bell/bell.xml;query=;brand=default

✓ View PDFs http://localhost:8080/xtf/data/pdf/calag60-1/calag60-1.pdf
